The CCNM Business Association launched their first event of the year on Wednesday, November 2nd - a post-midterm social gathering and celebration.
We invited the newly licensed ND, Dr. Rupa Salwan as our guest speaker who advised students on key steps they can take now to facilitate transition into their ND careers. Dr. Salwan also ran an elevator pitch activity to acknowledge our profession fully. The social event started off quite chic, with wine and cheese for students to enjoy while networking. Discussions were enthusiastic and touched on important topics including why business skills are a crucial aspect of a successful naturopathic medical practice. Introductions were made, contacts were shared, friendships formed, and students of all years shared their business aspirations.
The Business Association would like to thank Dr. Salwan for taking the time to share her experience and interact with individuals one-on-one who were eager to learn more about the full CCNM process beyond graduation. Another thank you goes out to all the students, faculty, and alumni who continually support the association and enable these events to take place.
Stay tuned for our next event taking place on November 23rd, which will include financial advice such as how to get out of student debt and begin saving for your future dream practice. On top of that, the highly anticipated Business Summit has been confirmed to take place on January 28th for a full day of presentations from NDs who have each paved a unique path to build highly successful practices. Don't forget to save the dates; we can’t wait to see you there! Until then, if you have any questions, feedback, or are interested in getting involved, please e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your continued interest and support!
